Mission and Objectives

Mission

Undergraduate

The Department aims to cultivate engineering professionals with a solid foundation in electrical engineering and information communication technologies. The curriculum emphasizes both theory and practice, guiding students to build a robust knowledge system in these fields.

Students will learn core principles and hands-on skills in key areas, including Robotics and Intelligent IoT Systems, Networks and Communications, Chip Design and Systems, and Semiconductor Optoelectronics. This approach provides a strong professional foundation, preparing graduates for careers in industry or for advanced academic research.

Graduate

The program aims to cultivate advanced R&D and leadership talents capable of driving future technological development. Building on the undergraduate foundation, the master’s curriculum emphasizes deep integration of electrical engineering and information technologies, systematic analysis, and innovative design skills.

The program fosters students’ independent research and creative thinking abilities and expands their international perspective through research projects and industry-academia collaboration. In the four key areas—Robotics and Intelligent IoT Systems, Networks and Communications, Chip Design and Systems, and Semiconductor Optoelectronics—students engage in advanced, in-depth research, preparing them to tackle complex engineering problems.
